Issue 121 of "Pegasus", 28th March 1945. The centre section refers to Lieutenant Roberts' experience on the drop zone. It reads: "Presence of Mind. On the drop a certain parachuting RASC officer found himself landed a little inconveniently in the middle of a crowd of Huns. As he was the only wicked Britisher about - as a matter of fact he was Scotch, but it counts the same - the Huns did not hesitate to sally forth and take him prisoner. He fortunately knew enough German to make it clear to them that it was really quite foolish of them to take him prisoner as they were completely surrounded by a whole host of desperadoes in cherry berets, and they would be certainly all be taken prisoner themselves much more unpleasantly if they did not give themselves up to him. So they gave themselves up and the RASC supplied you with prisoners before getting down to providing you with other more useful commodities...." Copyright: Jack Roberts.
