One of the 2nd Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry gliders, carrying a part of "D" Company, including Private Denis Edwards, a veteran of Pegasus Bridge and later author of "The Devil's Own Luck". Despite having the starboard wing-tip and aileron shot off by shell fire at 1,000 feet, then similarly losing the tail section whilst bullets came through the fuselage amongst the passengers, nobody aboard was hurt.
