David Eley

David Eley of the 9th Parachute Battalion in Palestine. He lied about his age and joined the RAF in 1941, being trained as a pilot before being transferred to the Parachute Regiment. Eley is believed to have served in Europe before being demobbed in 1946. He passed away in October 2015. Copyright: David Eley.
