        Camps: Flensberg Hospital (30th April to 4th May 1942), Dulag Luft 3 (6th to 8th May 1942), Holemark Hospital (8th to 12th May 1942), Obermassfeld Hospital (14th to 30th May 1942), Sagen Luft 3 (4th June 1942 to 13th July 1943), Heydekrug [Stalag Luft VI] (16th July 1943 to 13th June 1944), Stalag 357 Thorn (16th June to 9th August 1944), Stalag 357 Fallingbostel (13th August 1944 to 7th April 1945).

        Illnesses: Broken leg & finger. Cause: Crash in Danemark. Duration: 30 days. Did you receive adequate medical treatment? Yes.

        Escapes: Yes. First attempt at Sagen by tunnel unsuccessful. Second attempt at Heydekrug by tunnel unsuccessful. Third attempt at Heydekrug by tunnel unsuccessful. Fourth attempt on April 16 while on march, successful. At Luneburg - released 18th April 45.
