STALAG VIIB MEMMINGEN

 

Labour Detachment 3987 Agathazell (forms part of VIIA MOOSBERG)

Man of confidence: Sgt Fletcher H.G. (180601)

 

Strength: 59 British prisoners of war.

        Prisoners are engaged on constructural work. They live in one barrack with two dormitories and one dining room. Three tier beds. Food is cooked in a nearby canteen and is said to be good but insufficient in quantity.

 

Sick parade is held three times a week. Good state of health. Some minor plaints were settled on the spot, permission for Sunday cross-country walks has been granted.

Sgt Karsipis Georgios (128187) 196 Greeks captured un British uniforms.

 

Above mentioned are detachments marked X have been personally inspected by the undersigned. The living accommodations may be described as fair. The same had to be reported by the Man of Confidence of the detachments not visited.
