Taken in 1940-41. Jim Harper writes "I was with all these chaps in one of the huts - most of them were probably from the 51st Highland Div. St. Valery. The winter 1940/41 was quite severe - and lack of food - fuel and adequate clothing took its toll - we all did our best to keep up morale - but it was quite difficult - they were a great bunch of chaps and I was quite proud to be with them."
