On the day of my visit the following 5 British and 8 American patients were under treatment in this lazaret:
BRITISH
1st Lieut. Anthony BELL
Bullet injury of the spine, this man has passed the Mixed Medical Commission for repatriation.
Soldier Vincent CLARK
Enucleation of the left eye due to a shell splinter.
St/Sgt. Alexander MOOR
He was injured by a shot through his left heel.
L/Cpl. Herbert JOHNSON
Pelvis fracture.
Soldier Ernest MARRIOTT
Fracture of the skull; is well recovering.
AMERICAN
St/Sgt. Jack MARTIN
Both thighs fractures by a gunshot; repatriation case.
Lieut. Joe ALLRED
Amputation of the left thigh, has passed Mixed Medical Commission for Repatriation.
1st Lieut. Herbert STREET
Left shank fractured.
St/Sgt. Charles COKITIS
Fracture of the skull basis.
St/Sgt. Albert Henry SMITH
Cataracta traumatic, left eye.
St/Sgt. John CHAMPION
Cataracta traumatic, left eye.
St/Sgt. John WHITFIELD
Cataracta traumatic, right eye,
St/Sgt. William CURRY
Fracture of the column vertebral, due for repatriation.
All these patients are recovering under the excellent care of the physicians in charge,
I left this lazaret with the very best impression.
