2356892 Signalman George Hulley (centre) of the Royal Corps of Signals. Written below is "Mantarano, Italy, Nov 23rd 1942. Campo 70.", and on the reverse are two notes "Dec 8th 42. Good luck George. Hope it won't be long now. Selwyn" and "Best wishes always, keep smiling. Len", who are potentially the other two people in the photograph, both of the Royal Tank Regiment. Hulley was sent to Stalag IVC following the Italian Armistice in September 1943, and remained there until the end of the war. See also. Copyright: Nick Hulley.
