Captured: 7th December 1942, Tunisia.
Camps: P.G. 66 (11th December 1943 to March 1943), P.G. 59 (March 1943 to June 1943), Stalag VIIIB (2nd January to April 1944).
Work Camps: 146 (Italy, Farm work, June to September 1943), 587 (Germany, Coalmine, June 1944 to 19th January 1945).
Illnesses: Rheumatic fever. Cause: Italy & VIIIB. Duration: 20th November 1943 to February 1944. Did you receive adequate medical treatment? Yes.
Escapes: After collapse of Italy. Free 3 months with several friends. Others got to Switzerland. I was sick & was recaptured.
