GENERAL
Shelling and mortaring occurred daily at irregular intervals, especially during the night. Shelling was particularly severe on the following days:-
19 - Cfn Stasulevich killed in AWD 100 yds away.
20 - Cpl Hall, att 286 Fd Pk Coy RE killed and 3 ORs of 10 Airldg LAD wounded in quarry ¼ mile away.
