Staff-Sergeant Jim Wallwork

Jim Wallwork (second from the left) after receiving his Distinguished Flying Medal at the Arnhem Investiture at Buckingham Palace, 6th December 1944. The other men are all Glider Pilots, the three to the right of him were also awarded the DFM for their actions in Normandy; Staff-Sergeants William Charles Herbert, Stanley Pearson and Phillip Allan Hobbs, and first from the left is Staff-Sergeant Thomas Raymond Moore, who received the Military Medal for Sicily.
