Sergeant John Percy Edwards

4190997 Sergeant "Nat" Edwards, of the 6th Parachute Battalion. Born on the 18th November 1915, he joined the Royal Welch Fusiliers in 1931, serving with the 7th Battalion and then the 1st Battalion from 1934, before becoming a part of the 6th Parachute Battalion when it was converted to the airborne role in 1942. From then until 1944 he was with No.7 Platoon of "A" Company, but at various times also served with HQ and B Companies. Nat Edwards died on the 31st December 1969.
