E.M.E. (Tels) visited No.10 Command Workshops R.E.M.E. Mill Hill regarding Jedburgh Equipment.  Also visited War Office M.E.2. re Jedburgh Circuits.  D.D.M.E. and D.A.D.M.E. visited 114 General Hospital, Oxford to see C.R.E.M.E. 1st Airborne Division.

8th September 1944

A.I.A. visited C.O.D. Feltham regarding spare parts for Operation "Comet".  D.A.D.M.E. visited R.E.M.E. Central Workshops, Greenford and arranged Modifications to be carried out on 16 16-pdr Guns held for Re-supply.  C.R.E.M.E. and Adjutant 6 Airborne Division reported this Headquarters on return to U.K. to discuss Re-constitution Plans.

9th September 1944

D.A.D.M.E. visited Bicester Workshops for liaison re S.A.S. Jeeps and discussed design of Basic Airborne Jeeps.

11th September 1944

E.M.E. (Tels) visited 101 American Airborne Division to discuss Maintenance of Wireless Equipment.

12th September 1944

E.M.E. (Tels) visited 82 American Airborne Division to discuss Maintenance of Wireless Equipment.

13th September 1944

R.E.M.E  Exercise:- Workshop Detachment.

D.D.M.E. flew to Headquarters 2nd Army.

14th September 1944

D.D.M.E. and R.E.M.E. Personnel proceeded to Transit Camp for Exercise "Market".

15th September 1944

E.M.E. (Tels) and staff moved to Transit Camp for Operation "Market".

17th September 1944

Operation "Market".  Capt. Titmuss (E.M.E. Tels.) 1st Airborne Division reported this Headquarters prior to returning to B.L.A.

18th September 1944

Capt. Titmuss flew to Brussels.

C.R.E.M.E. 1st Airborne Division contacted this Office following illness and arranged to fly to Brussels on 19 Sept 44.

22nd September 1944

D.A.D.M.E. visited 9 Central Workshops R.E.M.E. Bicester for liaison re design of Basic Airborne Jeeps.

25th September 1944

Complete Type N Car 5-cwt 4x4 with Signals Equipment sent to Bicester for design of Basic car.

29th September 1944
