Private Archie Carruthers

Private Archibald Alston Carruthers, 3190793, of the Pioneer Platoon, HQ Company, 7th Battalion The King's Own Scottish Borderers, taken at Colchester Barracks in August 1940. His brother, Private W. Carruthers, also served with the 7th KOSB in the Anti-Tank Platoon, and was wounded and taken prisoner at Arnhem.
