Private William Lakey

Private William Lakey, 14272199, of the 10th Parachute Battalion, was born in 1921 and killed in action, aged 23, on the 19th September 1944. His first burial was to the north of the Amsterdamseweg, to the west of the La Cabine Pumping Station. He was later interred in the Oosterbeek Cemetery, 25.A.11. Copyright: Barry Bourne.
