Craftsman Ivor Brewster

Born in Dover on the 3rd May 1925, Ivor Brewster joined the Boys Army at 16. At Arnhem he was wounded whilst foraging for food on behalf of his unit, 1st Airborne Divisional Workshops, REME. Taken to the temporary hospital at Apeldoorn, he refused to be treated by the Germans and died of his wounds on the 16th January 1945.
