An orchestra of Yugoslav officers. The man with the cello, 5th from the left on the front row, is Major Gradimit Milojkovic. Sitting next to him in white is the conductor, Djordje Karaklajic. First from the right on the front row is Branko Smiljanic. The photograph was known to be taken at Oflag VIC at Osnabrück, but it is stamped on the rear as "Stalag 371 C". Stalag 371 was in Ukraine, where these officers were probably held originally, but the advance of the Red Army resulted in their being evacuated to the west, arriving at Osnabrück via, strangely, a camp hospital in Strasbourg, France.
