Looking west along the Benedendorpseweg to the van Borsselenweg/Veerweg junction, level with the cars, and the Westerbouwing Heights in the background. The junction and the Heights, marking the south-western corner of the Oosterbeek Perimeter, were occupied by "B" Company the 1st Border until they were forced off both of them on Thursday 21st September.
