The Walburgis Church to the north of Arnhem Bridge (the roundabout to the right is at the end of the bridge ramp). During the battle a German Bf-109 fighter flying low across the bridge area crashed into the right-hand spire. As a result of this and other damage sustained during the battle, the church required extensive reconstruction after the war. Copyright: Geert Boogaard.
