Four German prisoners of war near Wolfheze during the morning of Monday 18th September 1944. Described as "snipers", they were brought to 1st Airlanding Brigade Headquarters and handed over to No.3 Section, 1st Airborne Divisional Provost Company. The photograph was taken by Sergeant D. Smith of the Army Film and Photographic Unit, and the three guards in the background are all glider pilots of No.16 Flight, "F" Squadron, and they are, left to right, Staff-Sergeants J.
